Alara provides an hourly forecast of the UV radiation from the sun for your current location and gives recommendations on how to protect yourself so you can plan your day accordingly.

Some exposure to the sun is enjoyable. But too much can be dangerous, causing sunburns and long-term problems such as skin cancer and cataracts. Ozone depletion, as well as seasonal and weather variations, cause different amounts of UV radiation at any given time.

Overexposure to UV radiation from the sun is the most preventable cause of skin cancer.
